This is Chad Harrison, and you're listening to Hope Applying God's word to your daily life.

Hi, this is Chad Harrison, and I am the teaching pastor of Lake Community Church and have been serving as a pastor for 25 years.

I'm also a practicing attorney. This podcast is designed to help you study God's word and find God's will for your life.

I pray in the name of Jesus right now that God would open up his word to you and allow you to see him and to know him and to know his will, that you might glorify him and that you might walk in faith and power each and every day,

especially today in Jesus name.

He said, I looked. Verse 12.

And he opened a sixth seal.

And behold, there was a great earthquake. There's going to be three of these, okay?

Three great earthquakes. Now, we ain't talking about, like, little earthquakes, okay? We talking about, like, the whole earth shaking,

okay? If you had a satellite view way off in space, Earth's going to go like this,

okay? It's going to be a great shaking all over the earth,

all right? And it says, and the sun became black as sackcloth and hair,

and the moon became like blood.

And the stars of heaven fell to the earth. As a fig tree drops in late figs when it's shaken by a mighty wind.

Nahum 1:5 describes it as the. I think it's Nahum 1:5. It describes it as the earth were being rolled back, the stars being rolled back like a scroll. By the way, I.

I don't know if you know it or not, but according to the Big Bang theory, when the universe was created and it exploded, it rolls out like a scroll. Do y' all do know that, right?

It literally looks like a scroll doing, like this Bible says at the end right here. He's gonna do what? He gonna roll it back up,

all right?

Stars of heaven fell to the earth, and a fig tree drops its late figs when it's shaken by the mighty wind. Notice. Notice who is doing this.

It's a mighty wind.

And the fig tree,

meaning Israel, is shaken.

It's a shaking of Israel.

You need to hear this. As a part of the revelation is the redemption of Israel. We don't know how that works. We don't know its fullness. But God is redeeming Israel in this also, okay?

He's bringing them back to him,

all right? And part of that is a great awakening. It's a great revival,

okay? And so many times we try to figure out, well, when is this going to happen? Well, That's a hallmark of it.

A hallmark of it is the great revival in Israel. What I mean by great revival, they turn back to God.

It says the sky receded as a scroll when it has rolled up. And every mountain and island was moved out of its place.

Now that's. That's a problem.

Every mountain and island was moved out of its place.

So you need to be on the plains, you know,

because the mountains are bad and the beach is bad. Okay? Beach bad,

mountains bad.

Never been better to be an Auburn fan. Right?

On the plains. Right?

Amen.

All right. And the kings of the earth, the great men, the rich men, the commanders, the mighty men,

every slave, every free man hid himself in the caves and the rocks of the mountain. All right? Now you need to understand that. What does that mean? Well, what it means is all the leadership structures, all the structures of humanity are totally destroyed.

They totally abandoned those things.

What do you mean by that? Well, that means government.

Government's gonna. They're gonna abandon governmental institutions.

They're gonna ban. They're gonna abandon religious institutions,

okay? They're gonna. They're gonna abandon the churches and abandon the synagogues and abandon the,

the mosque. And. And they're. They're gonna get away from those things because this shaking is gonna totally destroy those things.

All, all the social welfare net networks, all the things that people have become used to taking care of them, they're all removed.

There's nothing left.

The mountains are not in their same place.

The islands and the seashores are not the same.

Man, what does that mean?

I mean,

that's a terrible shaking of the earth.

They're going to hunt and desire somebody to fix it.

Somebody to fix that problem.

It says,

and it says,

and they said to the mountains and the rocks fall on us and hide us from the. From him who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb.

Now,

this is a little bit of a difficult teaching,

okay?

The people that you watch,

who are the rich and the wealthy and all that kind of stuff.

Are you following me?

The powerful, the elite,

as in the times of Jesus.

So they will be in this time,

okay?

They know there's a God.

I want you to hear me.

The Marxists know there's a God.

Yeah, they know.

They know.

You think they don't.

A lot of ways you're being played with by the media and,

and things like that.

They know there's a God.

The chief priest and the elders, did they know Jesus was the Messiah?

Absolutely they did.

In fact, the chief priest said, be better One to die for the nation than the whole nation die.

He already knew. He prophesied it.

He knew that he was the Messiah. He knew that Jesus rode in on the donkey on the day Daniel said he'd ride in on it.

He knew he showed all the signs of being the Messiah. He'd raised the dead. He'd made the lame walk. He made the blind see his last great act of miraculous power that had happened, that happened right outside the city by a well known man in the city.

He raised Lazarus from the dead after he'd been in the tomb four days on. On the fourth day, he raised him from the dead.

They knew he was the Messiah.

They knew who he was and they rejected him.

Now, you can come up with every reason why you don't like that, but that's the truth. That's the way it is. They rejected him.

And, and, and Scripture told us that they would reject him.

Are you following me?

The powerful and the elite know that there's a God and they know these scriptures.

They're not hidden from them.

They know this stuff.

Those who are indulging themselves in satanic rituals and all the kind of stuff that goes on with the elite.

And if you don't think it does, it does. It's been going on for years and centuries.

There's societies on Ivy League campuses that deal in that stuff.

You just need to know that they know there's a God.

They hate God, but they know him and they don't want him to be in charge. And when this stuff starts happening, it's not going to be hard to figure out.

Kind of like when we look at Daniel and we say, oh, that's the,

that's the Greek Empire, and oh, that's the Roman Empire and oh, that's the Babylonian Empire.

Well, they're going to be able to see what's going on and know, oh,

that's God. Notice where are they hiding in the ground.

You do know they got all kinds of bunkers all over the place, right?

Yeah.

Huh.

You know the problem with a bunker? Y' all ever noticed what a problem with a bunker is?

The problem with a bunker is it's great until the mountain that it's under moves.

You know what I'm talking about? When the earth kind of shakes and everything underground kind of gets moved like a, like a chessboard.

Those bunkers ain't gonna do them no good if you're sitting there thinking, well, why don't we have bunkers? You ain't gonna want a bunker because you might be in that bunker forever,

okay?

They know that's going to happen,

and yet they still do it.

Look,

you can't worship Satan,

which many do,

and not know there's God,

because, you know, Satan came from somewhere.

He's not the God you know. That's some hard stuff. I'm not talking about conspiracy theory stuff. I'm just talking straight scripture to you.

If you don't think that stuff's going on, you. You. You don't know what's going on.

They know.

Listen, I went to school with them. They're smart.

Satan knows, too. That's right.

Yeah. They trying to find a place. I'm telling you. I told you. Island property ain't going to be good.

It ain't going to be good to have an island off the coast of Florida and wake up and find it off the coast of Brazil.

And what kind of turmoil did you go through to get there?

Right?

I mean, you can build you a giant bunker out in the. Out in the Colorado Rockies, but when the mountain moves to Nebraska, that's a problem,

right?

Notice what they asked for.

They said to the mountains and the rocks fall on us and hide us from the face of him who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb.

For the great day of his wrath has come and who is able to stand notice. They call it the great day of his wrath.

They know what it is.

The elites know what's happening and they want to die.

Now, the neat thing about it is God didn't let them die,

okay?

He doesn't let them die.

As you go today, I pray that.

The Lord will bless you and keep you, that he'll make his face to shine upon you, and that he will give you hope and peace today in Jesus name.
