This is Chad Harrison, and you're listening to Hope Applying God's word to your daily life.

Hi, this is Chad Harrison, and I am the teaching pastor of Lake Community Church and have been serving as a pastor for 25 years.

I'm also a practicing attorney. This podcast is designed to help you study God's word and find God's will for your life.

I pray in the name of Jesus right now that God would open up.

His word to you and allow you.

To see him and to know him and to know his will, that you might glorify him and that you might walk in faith and power each and every day, especially today,

in Jesus name.

Understand that?

So then we move to what people love to call the Antichrist.

Okay?

And the first one is the one that you're.

We all talk about,

but the second one is never talked about.

We're not going to talk about the second one this week. We're going to talk about the first one,

the first Antichrist. We need to figure out who he is, okay? Because it gives us some pretty clear indications of who he is.

Okay? It says here, then I stood on the sand of the sea.

Now remember,

every time you see the word sea or ocean,

you think Gentiles every time,

all right?

Which tells us that especially John being the major symbolism writer of the New Testament, the one who really uses symbolism to understand things.

We understand that the Antichrist that we think of as the political leader,

the one who everybody follows after,

is not a Jew. He's a Gentile.

Okay?

It says,

I stood on the sand of the sea and I saw a beast rising up out of the sea.

Now he's called a beast, okay?

And that I. That word in the New Testament is used to describe.

Best I can say for you is evil power,

usually specifically for demonic power, not fallen angel power.

But we're going to see that he has some of the indications of both.

But I will say this because when you're talking about New Testament and beast, I do need to spell this out for you.

And I know there's Every. Every time I teach through something, there's more and more people here, and there's more and more people that I may not have taught this to.

So I'm gonna give you a real quick primer,

okay?

How many of y' all have heard me teach about the flood, have not heard me teach about the flood? Raise your hand.

Okay.

All right.

This is all the way back in Genesis,

okay? And it's important that you know this.

In Genesis,

you have in chapter I Think it's four.

You have. What is our favorite verses to study through?

All of us, we love them when we. When we're doing our read through the Bible,

you love it when it's Genealogy Day.

Am I right?

I mean, we eat up Genealogy Day.

Well,

if you've not done a Bible study and thinking, well, I'm gonna have my verses today and realize you're getting about to get 18 verses of genealogy,

it's not fun now, if you know what it means. It's a lot of fun.

Okay. In fact,

I could do a whole sermon on the genealogy of the names of the people that are named here. Because if you put what their names actually mean in order, it tells the story of Jesus.

But I'll ju. I'll leave that for another day. Okay. You could actually probably Google that. Okay, genealogy. Genesis chapter 4 describes who Jesus is. Look it up. It'll give you their names.

Each one of the names from Adam, man. It starts with man, and it moves all the way to the end, and it actually tells the story of Jesus if you just go by the names of the people.

All right,

now it gives us a genealogy, and that genealogy is from Adam to Noah.

Okay?

Then chapter five starts out with a description of Noah. And in that description of Noah, it says that he was perfect in his generation is where you'll read it. It's translated generation.

Okay? Now, I want you to understand that that word that is used for perfect in his generation.

If you use the word the way it's used throughout the Hebrew Bible, the word for perfect means without defect,

which would mean he would be sinless.

Okay?

Now, the cool thing about that is that we know he wasn't sinless,

so there's gotta be another option.

So the word perfect would indicate sinless.

If it was, he was perfect in his generation.

But the word generation can also be translated genealogy.

Okay?

Now, for the Scriptures to say that Noah was perfect in his genealogy is obvious because we just got out of chapter four when it showed his genealogy from Adam to Noah.

So when it says that he's perfect in his genealogy, that means he was perfect from Adam to Noah,

which means nobody that shouldn't be in the line is in the line. And you go, what are you talking about? Well,

I'm talking about what happens next.

It says that the daughters of men.

I mean, the sons of God saw the daughters of men, that they were beautiful, and then they had relationships with them, and their children were the men of old, the men of renown.

Okay?

Now, you need to understand that so you go, well, who are the sons of God?

Okay.

Scripturally speaking,

the sons of God are one of three.

You following me?

They are either angels, because angels are repetitively called the sons of God.

They are Jesus. But Jesus can't be the sons of God because he. He ain't but one.

So he would be the Son of God, but not sons of God.

And the other is New Testament believers.

Okay,

so the sons of God saw the daughters of men,

that they were beautiful and they had relationships with them.

And their children are called the Nephilim, the men of old and men of renown.

Make sense.

So which angels were they?

Well, they were Satan's angels. So the angels under his army. And we talked about that last week, right?

We talked about how that works.

All right,

what did they do? Well, they had children.

And remember,

angels are spirit beings.

So they had children who would have been. Had a body, a soul and a spirit back in the original image. The problem is, is their bodies or their flesh would be sinful,

their souls would be sinful,

and their spirits would be what?

Sinful.

So they were perfectly sinful.

Now, if every human being had one of them in their bloodline,

then you would have a spirit in you that was an evil spirit,

couldn't be removed.

So what did God do?

He picked Noah,

who was perfect in his genealogy.

Okay.

And his sons, who were not in the genealogy, but I'm going to let you know, they would have been the next ones in the genealogy. Okay? All right. If they, if he moved on past Noah, it would have been him, them and their wives.

Eight people on an ark.

Okay. And he killed them.

Now, I have been chastised once about this because nobody believed this.

The person didn't believe this. They thought it was separate.

But in scripture,

especially in the Old Testament and in the New Testament,

there are the sons of God, the angelic,

the angelic that are under Satan.

And then you have in the Old Testament, these beings called unclean spirits,

okay.

In the New Testament, they're called demons,

which is just a transliteration of the English, of the. Of the Greek word.

Okay?

Now, these unclean spirits,

in my opinion,

because they show up after Genesis, chapter four and five,

in my opinion, they're the disembodied spirits of the Nephilim or the offspring of these angels.

And by the way,

do we have any historical evidence of that?

Yeah,

we do.

In fact,

all those same cultures have these superhuman people that could do superhuman things. Many of them were giants and,

and they could, they could hang out and they could jump long distances and run really fast and fight major battles. And they were called, in Greek and Roman and most of the pagan cultures of the area, they were called demigods,

which means they were not quite gods, but they were kind of like gods.

You do know they're everywhere.

Everywhere.

Yeah, they were worshiped as gods.

Achilles,

Hector,

all of them.

All of them,

from the southern tip of South America to the ice caps of Canada,

from the Zulu nation in the south of Africa all the way up to Morocco.

The. The Vikings had these demigods that they followed everywhere. They're everywhere. They're in all the cultures.

Okay,

along with the flood,

where did the demigods go?

Well, they were either mythological or they weren't.

It's funny how we call things myths that we don't understand.

Am I right?

In fact, you know, just a few years ago, they called something that came out of East Asia a myth.

Now we're even having PBS come on and say, you know, we probably should have not called it a myth.

You know,

Am I right?

Understand that.

So you have demons and you have fallen angels,

okay?

Demons in the New Testament are often called beast,

wild beast,

okay?

The demoniac, the guy with the legion of spirits.

Mary Magdalene possessed of.

Of a daemon.

We find it over and over and over again in the Old Testament and the New. Strictly forbidden by Moses.

Do not have anything to do with those. Those demonic spirits do not have anything to do with mysticism. Bible study last week was about that.

Okay? Have nothing to do with that. Why? Because it comes from Satan.

All right?

This Antichrist is described as a beast.

Now he's going to have other. He's going to have other symbolism to him,

but he's described as a beast.

Now you go, well, how can that be? I thought they were all killed in the flood.

There's an interesting passage in Joshua that says there were Nephilim in the land before and even unto this day.

So what does that mean?

Don't know.

But the whole reason they didn't want to go in the promised land was because of the Nephilim.

Now, did they just assume that there were Nephilim? Maybe,

but there's a chance that they weren't. And by the way, Goliath was a giant,

okay?

By the way,

you want to go down a deep dive rabbit hole.

Look up,

look up news articles,

not anything else.

News articles on giants graves being found all over the world.

Okay,

it's a rabbit hole.

But there are legitimate news articles like major newspapers across this country that are taught that have News articles that we have copies of saying,

you know, 1895, on the plains of Nebraska, graveyard, uncovered beings, 12ft tall. Humans, 12ft tall.

Don't know.

But I'm thinking you can build pyramids better with 12 and 20ft tall people than you can with 5ft tall people. Am I right?

Just letting you know,

just throwing it out there. I'm not. It's not. It's not.

Let's.

Let's just. Let's. Let's. Let's think about it and consider. It doesn't have to be,

but I do know what it says about this. This guy.

It says,

I saw a beast rising up out of the sea. And when I think of beast in the New Testament, I think of demons.

When I read beast in the New Testament, I always think demon, because it usually is describing demons.

Could be.

All right,

well, let's just go down that. Since the question was asked, let's go down the rabbit hole.

All right?

This guy is about to be described as something,

okay?

And there's only one other person in scripture who is described the same way. He's given the same type.

He's about to be called the Son of perdition or the Son of Hell,

which can be metaphorical.

Like I said, I'm not telling you tonight that you have to think any of this stuff is true.

Just you need to know that there are people out there that don't want you to know certain things.

And that's true.

Okay.

I've never uncovered a giant grave.

Tend to not go for looking for graves. Okay? So I'm probably not going to uncover one.

You with me?

But when I read articles from China and articles from India and articles from Africa and people going out who are archeological archeologists, and they find these graves, and they say it was 14ft tall, he's 9ft tall, 11ft tall, I tend to think,

why did all those articles cease?

And where did those bones go? And by the way, they do have bones. And do you know who. Who, who collected all those bones up?

Yes, ma'.

Am.

The Smithsonian Institute has them.

All of them.

This will get me slowed down real fast on Facebook.

Might be hard to find me for the next week or so on for Bible study. Okay,

all right. That. That does happen.

I said Trump, but I said it again.

I said Trump about two months ago. And we spent a week, nobody watching Facebook with me. Because they didn't ban me. They just shadow banned me, you know,

And I wasn't even saying anything good about it. I just said, trump,

I've already said, you know, Smithsonian and everything else. I'm stuck with it.

As you go.

Today I pray that the Lord will.

Bless you and keep you, that he'll make his face to shine upon you and that he will give you hope and peace today in Jesus name.
