This is Chad Harrison, and you're listening to Hope Applying God's word to your daily life.

Hi, this is Chad Harrison, and I am the teaching pastor of Lake Community Church and have been serving as a pastor for 25 years.

I'm also a practicing attorney. This podcast is designed to help you study God's word and find God's will for your life.

I pray in the name of Jesus right now that God would open up.

His word to you and allow you.

To see him and to know him and to know his will, that you might glorify him and that you might walk in faith and power each and every day, especially today in Jesus name.

All right,

so understanding that he's called the Son of Perdition,

the Son of Hell,

there's one other person in the Bible that's called the Son of Hell,

and that's Judas.

Judas is called the Son of Perdition. And in fact, the Bible says in Luke and John that Satan entered him.

So how did that work? I don't know.

Could he been a nephilim? Could he actually be the son of Satan? He's definitely the Son of Hell. I don't know if he's the son of Satan. Don't know if the Antichrist is.

But they're both mentioned as being under Satan's control.

Okay,

now you need to hear this, because a lot of people get nervous about this.

You cannot be possessed by Satan or a demon if you're born again.

Okay?

If you're born again, you're oppressed by the demonic, and we know that. Right.

One of the things that's common in the. In the.

In the.

My eyes, going blank. The.

The.

Where people are addicted to drugs and alcohol. In the.

Not rehab, but the.

You know, when you're. You're trying to get over it.

Yeah. Then the recovery world.

Very good.

In the recovery world,

one of the things that they use as a description, which I think is an apt description, is that is a. It's a.

It's a monkey on your back. It's a bear that's on you.

And they describe it that.

Now, I want you to hear me.

I think that's really appropriate because it is a stronghold.

All right? Now,

they've defined it as that because there's been a lot of effort to really dig down and. And help people recover from that. That struggle.

Okay? I want you to hear me.

All of the struggles that you have.

Are you following me in your flesh?

Demons love that.

They want to be around it.

Okay.

They feed off of fear and they feed off of struggle.

And listen, especially all you in the medical profession, and I know you know this,

but there are certain places that they love to be.

And one of the places that the demonic love is the hospital.

Why? Because there's pain and there's.

There's fear and there's. It's a struggle. It's a struggle.

And anybody who's involved in the medical profession is really, all the time going into that another place. They like his courthouses.

They really do.

They really do. Why? Because there's a lot of fear.

There's a lot of, you know, panic. There's a lot of struggle there. There's a lot of, you know, a lot of strongholds, and we call them strongholds, okay? And I love it when we use these words in our churches, but we don't really take them to their.

Their rightful end.

Do you know what I'm talking about? People talking about, brother, I know that's a stronghold for you, and I'm praying for you. And what you're really talking about some ugly spiritual problem that they've got.

Are you following me? And it ain't a. I'm going to pray for you, brother, about that thing, you know, it ain't that it's a problem,

okay?

So these, this beast is described and is attributed as. As the same as. As Judas,

all right?

And it's important that you get this,

that the Bible says that Jesus said all that the Father has given me. As far as my disciples, I've held except for one.

And you go, well, does that mean that Jesus's power is less?

No,

it doesn't.

In the same way, the Father, when he created the angelic host,

he created one.

He created one who would not choose him, but would choose his own.

Would not choose God, but would choose not. Would not choose to be God, but would choose to be not God.

Jesus did the exact same thing,

okay?

And many people want to say, well, is Judas,

Could Judas have gone to heaven?

Well, he's called the Son of Hell.

Some will doubt it,

okay?

I mean, if we're going to use the pictures,

that's a bad one. Am I right?

It says, it says here,

having seven heads, which means he is super smart, okay?

He.

He's. He's got all the knowledge of Satan,

all right? And you go, well, how much knowledge does Satan have?

Now you need to hear this because it is a defined amount and it's not God's amount.

Are you with me?

Satan knows everything that's ever happened.

Everything that's ever happened,

but he doesn't know everything that hasn't happened unless God gives him an insight to it.

Not only that,

he doesn't know everything about God.

What do you mean by that? Well, what you know about God,

and I want you to hear me,

even in Romans, chapter one, it says, all that might be known about God is clearly seen in that which he created.

Now, what does that mean?

What that means is there's some aspects of God.

There's no way for you to know it.

You can't know it. It's too. It's too much. You can't get it.

There's parts of God you don't get.

Now, when you get to. When you get to heaven, you're going to know it. You're going to know everything.

But right now don't know,

he says everything that might be known about God.

Okay,

I want. Let me give it to you in a way maybe you can get.

Well, we're going through all kinds of stuff tonight.

You know, God is in his very character. Nature is love, right?

And we know the love of God that we know.

Is there more to the love of God that we don't know?

Probably.

Probably because we can only define it in our human language and in our human experience.

And our human experience is very limited. And our human language is probably even more limited.

Right?

So that which I can know about God is only what he is able, in my finite humanness to be able to understand.

That's all I can know about it.

All right? But there's probably greater than that.

Way greater than that.

Okay?

So the mysteries of who God is,

He's trying to reveal it as much as he can in my finite human nature. He wants you to know him as much as you possibly can as a human being.

But I can't know him as much as I possibly can as not a human being,

because I'm a human being.

You with me Makes good sense.

Yeah. We're limited.

We're limited. That's right.

And so I want. I want you. And listen, that's an important idea for you to understand as you search God out. Oftentimes you use that to beat yourself up. Well, I don't know enough.

I don't. Yeah. You know what I'm saying? Or you puff yourself up. I know more than them.

Are you following me? But what you know or what you don't know is like the crust is real small,

okay?

You might be higher on the crust than somebody else, but you ain't that high.

You following me?

You just human high.

Satan knows everything.

That has ever happened while he was alive.

He knows it all.

He is the serpent of old.

He's the deceiver of men.

He knows all that stuff. He knows everything about you that he can know by observation and by hearing you,

but he can't indwell you, so he doesn't know your heart,

okay?

He doesn't know your heart.

And even the ones he may have indwelt and who have been delivered from it and who have been born again, Mary Magdalene,

the demoniac,

over and over, I can give you people like that, okay?

Even then, he doesn't truly know them after they're born again because they're not the same as they were before.

All right?

So Satan can't indwell you, but the demonic is always after you and they're always all over the place. And by the way, the other word used to describe demons,

and this is going to hurt some of your feelings,

it's dogs.

Yeah, and some of y'.

All.

Look. You mean my dog's a demon? No, no, no, no.

Your dog just acts like a demon, okay?

And you go, what do you mean by that? Well, they. They're disembodied humans,

so you know who they like to be with.

They like to hang out with humans, sit with humans, be with humans, do the human stuff, have humans around them, live where humans live.

Sounds like somebody I know,

right?

They even think they're humans. They think they can be like humans and do human stuff. Right?

That's why. That's why. That's why dogs are described in that way in the New Testament. Actually,

that's why demons are described that way because it's actually a really,

a good illustration.

Demons love to be with you.

You can't leave them a place to live, okay? Because they will come and set up shop, hang out with you until you die, and then go hang out with kids and grandkids,

okay?

They'd love to get passed down from generation to generation, right?

And they do.

The sins of the father pass to the second and third generation, right? But the grace of God's unto a thousand generation.

He has seven heads. You need to understand. Satan knows more than you know,

okay?

He has.

Seven heads and ten horns,

and on his horns ten crowns. Okay? Now, I talked to you all about this a couple of weeks ago. I think I need to recover it with you again because a lot of times we try to figure out who the 10 nations are that he's over.

And I'm not sure that that represents 10 nations,

okay? It could be 10 empires. It could be 10. I don't know what it is.

Don't know.

If you read most books on the Revelation written in modern times,

they try to make it the eu.

And I remember it specifically because I was young, but I watched CNN from age six. Okay, all right,

you go on, you watch cnn. It was only news network that was out there is 24 hours news.

I. I watched it. I watched my two preachers in the morning, then I watched CNN. Then my parents got up and I got ready for school.

Okay? I was a geek, okay? You just need to know that I was a geek. I knew. I knew some current events at 9 years old that I shouldn't have known, okay?

But back when the EU was being formed,

everybody was trying to make sure that they had the right 10 countries in it so that the Antichrist could run it.

Y' all do know that, right?

So that the Antichrist would be over the eu.

Now, they have messed this just totally up. I just want you to know, them Europeans, they mess up everything,

okay? Because now there's 26 nations and the EU, and I don't know how you. I don't know. That just doesn't fit at all. 26 and 10 ain't even close to each other.

I don't know how we going to get down to 10,

okay? But it's 26 and 10. So I'm just telling you, if you think the Antichrist is going to be over the EU,

probably not. Okay? I don't know what the 10 are, but there are 10.

There are 10 horns, which is 10 powers.

Okay?

And that could be historical. That could be. He was over 10, 10 empires.

It could be nations that exist at the time. At that time. At the time in which he rises up out of the sea. Okay, all right. You need to understand that the Second Thessalonians, Chapter 2, tells us that the end does not come.

Or what we call the Great Tribulation, the last three and a half years, that it does not come until the man of lawlessness is revealed.

And that's another name for this person.

He's called the man of Lawlessness.

Okay,

so what do we know about him? Well, he's lawless.

He's not under God's character nature at all.

He's lawless.

We know that he has the knowledge of Satan,

which is a lot.

Can you imagine having that knowledge,

how influential you would be with that kind of knowledge?

Can you imagine how you could fix all kinds of stuff with that kind of knowledge?

Yeah. And destroy. But remember, he comes to power because everybody thinks how smart he is.

By the way, he's real good looking, too.

That hurts your feelings when you come to church and you have to really face the facts that Jesus was not overly good looking and that the Antichrist is really, really good looking.

It does hurt your feelings.

You ladies know that Jesus wasn't all that good looking, right?

Isaiah 53 says, he had nothing in his appearance that would attract us to him.

That's a nice way of saying she cooks good.

You know what I'm saying?

A nice way of saying that. All right?

And he has 10 crowns, which means he doesn't just have the power,

he has the authority. He's actually in charge of those things,

okay? That's really, really important.

He doesn't just have the power over him.

He's legitimately. People see him legitimately as having the authority of those things,

okay? He rises to power and is given those authorities notice. He rises up out of the sea,

which does indicate that he is likely the source of some democratic process.

Okay?

And you go, well, why do you say that? Well, if you're the power in China,

right,

If you're Chairman Xi, can Chairman Xi be also the President of the United States?

No.

Can he be the.

Of Germany? And then because you're so influential and you do such a good job of leading that country that France and England and the United States and seven other nations elect you as their leader also.

Yeah, you got that. You got that little problem with the Constitution unless he's a natural born citizen of the United States.

What I'm saying to you is, is that when you listen to people come up with, you know,

it's this. This is the Antichrist. I know who he is. Okay,

then be careful,

because it's hard to figure that out. And by the way,

Thessalonians, Second Thessalonians tells us that it doesn't come until he is revealed,

which means not when he comes into existence and everybody gets to know Him. It's when he's revealed. Revealed to who?

To us,

to believers. Believers know that he's the Antichrist,

okay?

The end doesn't come until believers know who he is.

All right, now I want you to listen to me. That he does claim divinity.

You got to get that.

He claims to be divine.

He has a blasphemous name,

okay?

And so understanding that is important. We're not talking about somebody who all of a sudden, you know,

they're trying to live their life and they're really smart and they go all the good schools and they rise in power. And then, you know, one day, they're shaving the back of their head, and 666 is written in the back of the head, and Satan comes out of their eyes.

And they didn't know it.

They were stuck with it. You know what I'm saying? That's not what's going on,

okay? That's not how it happens.

All right? This guy chooses to blaspheme.

You need to hear that. Same as Judas.

Judas chose not to trust Jesus.

He chose to trust in his own way.

Make sense?

All right.

As you go today, I pray that.

The Lord will bless you and keep you, that he'll make his face to shine upon you, and that he will give you hope and peace today in Jesus name.
