This is Chad Harrison, and you're listening to Hope Applying God's word to your daily life. Hi, this is Chad Harrison, and I am the teaching pastor of Lake Community Church and have been serving as a pastor for 25 years. I'm also a practicing attorney. This podcast is designed to help you study God's word and find God's will for your life. I pray in the name of Jesus right now that God would open up his word to you and allow you to see him and to know him and to know his will, that you might glorify him and that you might walk in faith and power each and every day, especially today in Jesus name.

It says he performs great signs so that even so that. Even so that he even makes fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men. Right. What is that? Well, it's a picture of a prophetic power. Right. He is going to counterfeit the miracles and the works of God. What's up? You got a question? So you're not a nerd because people that know about God and Jesus is cool. You're not. What? You're not a nerd because. Oh, I'm not a nerd. Thank you. It's okay. Hey, listen, I went to Princeton. I am a nerd. People that know about God are cool. Yeah, they are. They are. They're. Well, they're going to be eternally cool for sure. Okay. They are. But I do appreciate you saying that. Thank you. All right. That's very sweet. All right. I. I want you to. I want you to. I want you to. When. When you're thinking through this, he is going to operate with spiritual power. He is going to perform spiritual miracles. Okay. And. And it's for the purpose of deceiving and causing the humanity that's on the earth to worship Satan. That is the end result of it. That's what the purpose of it is. He says here, and he deceives those who dwell on the earth by those signs which he was granted to do in the sight of the beast, telling those who dwell on the earth to make an image to the beast who was wounded by the sword and lived images. Every human something that he made. Pastor, could they worship something that God didn't make? Well, no, because everything that was made was made by him, and nothing that was made was not made by him. That's John, chapter one. All right, but let's just hypothetically say that there was something that was made that wasn't made by God. How would you know about. Wouldn't be in this creation. So how would you know about it? All right, so you either worship God, you worship something he created, or you worship the most important something that he created to you, which is you. Okay, you either worship God, something he made, or yourself. What is Satan trying to get humanity to worship himself by worshiping a human being? That's him. Now that kind of all these things on my mind as I'm saying them. They say he's a Nephilim. He's a Nephilim. He's enough of him. And I kind of now know when my dad said that. All right? Because if he's worshiping, would not Satan be jealous? Would Satan be jealous of the beast being worshiped? Huh? If he's jealous of God being worshiped, would he be wor. Would he be. Would he be jealous of the beast being worshiped? How would he not be jealous of the beast being worshiped if the beast came from him? Are you following me? If the beast was a product of himself, if he was a nephilim, It says he was granted power to give breath to the image of the beast. So what does he do? He gets the whole earth now notice what it says. He gets the whole earth to create this image of God. What time is it? Is it seven o'? Clock? He get. He get. He gets the whole earth to work on building this image of this beast, and then he somehow gives the beast the image life. Now, I want you to notice it's specifically using the word image. You're made in the image of God. This thing is made in the image of the beast, and then he does what to it? He breathes into it and gives it life. Now, I want you to hear me. That could only happen by our earthly powers right now. Yeah. I used to think of it as a statue that they made a statue and then the beast breathed on it and the statue came to life. When I was a child, that's what I thought that meant. Teenager, not child. Okay. I thought that's what that meant. But now we could make an image of humanity and the beast, which has all the knowledge and power of Satan, could breathe on it and it could give the appearance of life. Yeah. Artificial intelligence. So now you've got God the father, Satan trying to imitate God the Son, the first beast trying to imitate God the Holy Spirit the second beast trying to imitate, and this image that has its own life from those who is the imitation of who man. That the image of the beast should both speak and cause as many as would not worship the Image of the beast to be killed. Now, how does the beast. Cause those who do not worship the image to be killed? And the image talks. Yeah, you're right. Your phone talks to you, too, right? I told y' all Terminator was. Was real prophetic. Y' all do know that, right? It was real. It was. All right. Yeah. Lexus does, too. And there's some other lady. Okay, Siri. Yeah. All right. I'm giving y' all this at the end so that you'll begin to realize. Listen, do you know how cool it's. It's. It. You know when you go to the Old Testament and you go, okay, all the things that God said the Messiah would be okay? And then you have somebody 1500, 1300 10, 700 years later totally fulfilled those things, right? In Jesus Christ. And then. And I mean, we're talking about hundreds of prophecies. And then you have these prophecies of the New Testament. You've got the Olivet discourse, which is found in Matthew, Matthew 24, 25, 26. All right? You've got second Thessalonians, which is an explanation of the end times. And then you've got the Book of the Revelation. I want you hear me. And I know it seems weird for me to say this, but we know that the Revelation. I mean, there's not any, like, sign. Nobody's out there saying that the Book of the revelation wasn't written 2,000 years ago. Some might claim that John didn't write it, but no real reputable historian is going to say that John didn't write when we got so many accounts that John did write it. Are you following me? You got to get this. How could John have described so perfectly a robot that has the appearance of life. 2000 years ago? Yeah, he had to see it. He had to see it. I want you to hear me. John saw it. And did he say, well, I saw a robot and it had circuits in it, and I saw everybody coming together and putting all the electronics in it? Is that what he said? Because why didn't he mention the electronics? Why didn't he mention it? Because he don't know what that is. But he does say this, that the beast causes all the people of the Earth to come and make this image. How does he know that? How can all the people up to that time, Is there anything that's made on the Earth at that time that's made by a manufacturing process that involves all the peoples of the Earth? Has there ever been prior to the Tower of Babel? Has there ever Been a time where all the peoples of the earth came together and manufactured something and put it together and made it. No, no. How does John, John says all the people of the earth made this image and this image. The second beast did something to breathed on it. He gave it somehow. And all he's doing is describing what Jesus did and gave him eternal life. He's describing, he somehow gave him this life. And, and that beast talked and glorified and caused people to worship the other beast. How, how does he come up with that? And everybody in this room now knows for sure that that's possible 2,000 years later. How does he do that? How does, how does the prophet say that Jesus, Jesus would be born of a virgin and he is. How's the prophet say that he'll be born in Bethlehem, but Jesus's parents are from Galilee, from Nazareth? Okay, how, how, how does, how does Jesus end up being in Bethlehem, outside of Jerusalem to be born where he's supposed to be born? And, and the prophet knew it a thousand years before. How, how does that happen? I mean, I want you to get this. How does John pretty clearly describe the creation of a non human Android being that's able to control the Earth? By the way, this being is going to keep people from being able to eat if he wants to. How does he do that? Well, this being controls the economic system of the day. Don't you hear me? In order to do that, up until World War II was impossible. There was no way somebody in New York city or Washington D.C. or London or Berlin or Moscow could control whether somebody in Zimbabwe or Peru or an island in the deep southern Pacific got their food. There's only been one time in human history where it was even possible to control the food making of the whole world and decide who got food and who didn't get food. And you know when that is? About 30 years from now. It's not now, but you know, you give Amazon enough time. Do you understand that when you read, when we, When I describe that, that, that literally God is taking stories that are told 2000-3000-4000-5000 years before Christ, ancient stories, and tying them off to a story about a robot being brought to life 2,000 years later and saying this is. Or 2,500 years later and saying this is how it's all gonna culminate. And God's got a plan. He's worked it all out and I can tie it all from that point to that point and prove that there's God now. Don't you hear me? The same way, the only way there can be all those flood accounts is if there was a flood. There's only one way there can be all these creation accounts is there was a creation. There can only be all these understanding of spiritual and higher beings, many of them being called God. The only explanation for that throughout world history is that there is a God, not some other being that we don't know of. And that God 2000 years ago, adequately and directly described something that only you sitting in this seat in the last two or three, four or five years could have ever imagined actually could happen. So anytime you've got these questions, because we have questions. And I know I've said this to y' all before and said, have y' all ever doubted a little bit? And I don't know how this is, you know, God, how's this going to work out? And I'll tell you this, anybody who hasn't done that's a Christian, ain't been in the room when somebody died, hadn't been holding hands with somebody when they're talking about their imminent death. Sorry, you ain't done it. You just ain't done it. Because if, when you come face to face with your mortality, there. There is natural questions to come from that mortality, all right, God gives us those answers by his Holy Spirit, through his Son, by the revelation of His Word, all right? Those answers are given to us. But when I think in the just real quick instant, all right, God, I'm not sure, you know, let's go back over this for a minute. How many of y' all ever done that? Be honest. How many y' all ever done that? Let's. Let's go over that for a minute. Are you following me? Let's go over it for a minute. There's a myriad of things I can go to, but one thing I can go to is he could say, well, you know, Chad, I predicted robots 2,000 years ago. How about that? So you're going to question me now? I not only predicted them, I let John see them. He told you about it and sent you a message 2000 years in time to yourself. And I go, oh, that makes sense there. Okay, all right, so we need to get, get past this whole question and what the plan is. All right, let's get back to where is the plan. Oh, I know the plan. Now. You do know that, right? That you, you, you do know that. That there. I don't know. I don't know why I'm even saying this to you, But you do know that at some Point in time, you are going to come face to face with mortalities, And that does cause you to question death and life. And I come face to face with it all the time. And it's a very healthy exercise, and I'm required to give answers for it. You do know that, right? I don't get to say. Well, I don't know. Ask chad. I've got to walk in a room. It's not every day I'm making it like it's happening all the time. But there's days I got to walk in the room, and somebody's got to ask me a hard question. That that is the result of them coming face to face with their mortality. Boom. Right there. I could be thinking about, you know, why I sliced the ball off my drive or is my car not running right? Or what? I got a handle over here. And then all of a sudden, I walk into a room and somebody says, chad, God, death, life, go right, Mama's dying. Why? Answer. Okay, now I want you to hear me. Sometimes when I'm asked that question, the computer reboots. My mind goes fuzzy. The screen pop back on. Sometimes that happens. And while it's rebooting, I'm going, God, you there? You there, God, God, come in, God. God, come in right now. Sometimes that happens. Okay, but. I know. But the cool thing about that is this, that when you come face to face with it, he provides so many answers to the point where it just comes natural to you. It just becomes natural. It's what? You, you, you. Okay, I know. I know that. I know that answer. And when you come to me and ask me questions about it, I know that you're struggling to get those answers. You're coming face to face with it. You're dealing with it, which is great. And you ought to count yourself blessed because God is revealing himself to you in those times. You ought to consider yourself blessed when you have to deal with those issues. Because it is a blessing from God that you have to deal with it, because you have to come to terms with your mortality. You have to come to terms with eternal life. And do I ever reach out and grab the idol that was made by the second beast? No. But if I was talking to a robot scientist, I probably would. Are you following me? Not always the perfect ones, not always the best ones, but they have answers for their faith. Because your faith is going to cause you to go through adversity, which causes you to learn to know God. So if you're not facing any spiritual adversity, you're not growing. And that's the last hallmark of faith. Are y' all following me? The last. If you're taking notes, the last hallmark of faith is adversity. Okay? If things are all going great for you, be careful. Either he's giving you kind of a little break before he takes you home, or you ain't doing nothing for the kingdom as you go. Today I pray that the Lord will.

Bless you and keep you, that he'll make his face to shine upon you, and that he will give you hope and peace today in Jesus name.
