This is Chad Harrison, and you're listening to Hope Applying God's word to your daily life.

Hi, this is Chad Harrison, and I am the teaching pastor of Lake Community Church and have been serving as a pastor for 25 years.

I'm also a practicing attorney. This podcast is designed to help you study God's word and find God's will for your life.

I pray in the name of Jesus right now that God would open up his word to you and allow you to see him and to know him and to know his will, that you might glorify him and that you might walk in faith and power each and every day,

especially today in Jesus name.

The Bible says that they go out and they come from the dragon, the beast, and the false prophet. So they're being sold by everyone.

It says they go forth to the kingdom reserve and they bring these kings. They lie.

They sell the lie that something is about to attack and they need to all come together.

Okay?

Now I want you to hear me.

That's not a hard lie to sell.

They're getting us ready for it. Now.

It's real easy. There's going to be a time where somewhere in the neighborhood of 2 billion people go missing.

Now, they ain't going to call it. Jesus came to get them,

And all these destructive forces are going to take place, and we need to do battle against them. In fact, we've made movie movies about it where we fight the aliens.

With helicopters and mainly fighters, though. I'm gonna tell you, Dean, we had to take a fighter up there to put the.

What. What was his name? Who did that?

Will Smith. Yeah, Will Smith. And. And. And that other goofy dude took the. Took the bomb up there and blew up the alien ship, right?

We've got that going on all the time. And let me say. Let me tell you something. It's been going on for a while.

The whole United States was shaken back in the.

I want to say, the 1930s.

Did y' all know that?

That was back when they didn't have TVs. All they had was radios. And they had giant radio stations all over the country. They had one in Atlanta. They had in one Chicago.

They had one in New York,

okay? WGN out of Chicago. That used to be a radio station. And they would have shows on at night and people would gather around the radio. I'm telling y', all stuff that even y' all didn't do.

Okay? Am I right?

Did anybody hang around the radio station when they were little kids?

You did. Both of y' all did.

Okay? Well, so we do have some here tonight,

some 60 year old ladies that remember back to that time period, okay? All right.

Who remember the radio stations and they came on the air as if it was a news flow.

War of the worlds,

okay?

And people all over the country believed that we were attacked, being attacked by aliens.

Okay.

That we're being attacked by aliens. By the way, the devil is using all the things in scripture that God said happened. He's using those things to try to prove to you that they're aliens.

But they're not aliens.

By the way, these Nephilim that are unclean spirits, the Bible says they're the great men of old, the men of renowned,

okay?

And they were, they were what in essence are what we call demigods. And I'm giving you this so that you'll think, begin to think about that when we get to chapter 17,

okay? What's a demigod? Can anybody name us a demigod?

Hercules.

Thor.

Well, Zeus is the well. Satan. Zeus.

All right, all right.

I like Achilles. How many of y' all like that? I like that movie. That's the famous.

He was the child of the product of a God and a woman.

And they dipped him when he was a child in the river sticks by his Achilles heel. And the only way you could kill him was with the Achilles heel, right?

It was when his. Brad Pitt was a Brad Pitt that played. Played Achilles, okay? And at the end of the movie they killed him by shooting him through his heel,

which is ridiculous. You can't kill anybody by shooting them through their heel.

Uh huh. You've got Medusa all, all of those things. I want you hear me,

don't you hear me? Those are,

those are pagan stories that come from the age of the Nephilim,

okay?

They're not made up stuff.

I want you to hear me now. Do I think Achilles lived? No.

But there were great powerful men,

humans,

who were giants.

One of the things, the sons of Anakin are giants.

We know that David fought a giant.

All right? I'm telling you this stuff because you're sitting there going, that's just a bunch of superstition.

No, it's not.

No, it's not.

It's not a deep rabbit hole. You got to go down to find out that in the 1800s there's news articles all over the world written by newspapers of them finding giants.

Bones. But I'm going to tell you this. There's going to come a day where there's this beast out of the sea and the beast out of the land. And they're going to make an idol that seems like it's a full fledged human being.

You know how I know that? It's in the chapter before this one.

Okay? It's. It's there.

There's no. There's no way you would even consider that possible until the last 10 years. Am I right?

If I told you today that they're going to be able to create a being that is.

Is perfect and. And seems like the perfect human being,

they'll tell you today that that's possible.

Danger, Will Robinson, danger.

It's way better than that, Robot. I understanding that these frogs are going to go and tell.

Are going to sell the lie that the earth is under attack and all the armies. And the Bible says all the peoples of the earth, let me. It says it right here.

It says, for the spirits and demons,

they come out of the mouth, for they are spirits of demons performing signs or spirits of unclean spirits performing signs which go out to the kings of the earth and of the whole world to gather them to battle that great day of God Almighty.

All right?

Those frogs deceive human beings. And we know that. That it's easy to deceive kings. Ahab was deceived.

Ahab was deceived to come and to die.

All right?

He was a wicked king who followed an evil spirit.

By the way, on the plains of Megiddo. Do y' all know who the most famous person to die on the plains of Megiddo was?

Maybe, but I'm not. Not really. Maybe not.

No.

Saul.

King Saul died on the plains of Megiddo.

God told him to go defeat them.

To. To. To. To. I think it's the Amorites. To destroy the Amorites and to kill every one of them and to kill all their livestock.

And the funniest, one of the funniest lines in the Bible,

is the prophet Samuel going to meet Saul on the plains of Megiddo?

And what does he say?

Saul comes out and says, I've done everything that God said.

I have done exactly what God told me to do. And Samuel, the prophet Samuel, who anointed him king, says, what is this bleeding I hear in my ears?

Which is hilarious if you think about it, because he's talking about the sheep that he didn't kill.

Okay? He's saying,

you didn't do what God told you to do. You didn't do it. You did. You did what you wanted that suited you and left everything else undone.

And what did God say to him?

You're going to die. From it. God's taken the kingdom from you. You're not going to make it.

And by the way,

Saul died and so did his sons on the plains of Megiddo.

We know that God can allow evil spirits. By the way, the evil spirit that went and went passage. He said there was a man, he's talking about himself,

who was caught up to the third heaven and he saw wonders that were indescribable,

which included he saw himself.

And in order to keep him humble and not full of pride,

God sent a messenger from Satan to torment his flesh so that he would remain humble.

So are you saying that God allowed a fallen angel to torment the apostle Paul's flesh?

I'm not telling you that.

Paul's telling you that.

The Bible's telling you that. God's telling you that.

Why am I telling you this stuff?

Well, I'm telling you this stuff is because there's spiritual things that are going on around you that you have no idea of.

There's spiritual plans that are at work that you have no idea of.

There's angels that just come and hang out and watch you because you are amazing to them,

okay? You are a wonder to them.

How in the world can somebody operate in the full power of God and, and be so messed up as you are?

How can that possibly happen?

They watch you and they look at you and they go,

whoa.

How could that happen?

How could that two year old step up to the plate and hit a 100 mile hour fastball out of the stadium and into the city?

That can't happen.

You doing what you do by the power of the Holy Spirit is not possible except by the power of the Holy Spirit.

You're amazing to the angels, you're amazing to these spiritual beings that are going on and the spiritual things that are taking place around you. I want you to hear me.

You're glad you don't see them all the time.

It would be a mess to you. You would ball up into a corner in fear and cry all day long if you saw them.

But the angels are ministering to you. The fallen angels,

they're controlling their areas of the earth. That's why Satan is called the prince of the power of the air.

They control areas of the earth and you've been given authority to take that which is yours. And he doesn't have authority to stop you.

The principalities and angels and powers that control the earth, they have no authority over you.

But I can tell you this. If you saw them, you'd let them have authority because you'd well, you'd probably wet your pants and run.

Okay? If you actually saw what you were actually confronting and overcoming.

When somebody says to you that, that. And if you're involved in,

in the, in the real ministry of helping people through chemical addiction,

okay, they will tell you that there's something controlling them. There's a, Some of them call it a bear on their back. There's a monster on their back. Some of them, they say it's a monster from the inside.

I'm going to tell you, the ones that say it's a monster from the inside, they're lost.

The ones who say it's a monster on their back, they're likely born again. And, and, and Satan has a power and control over them.

Okay,

what is that?

That's a spiritual power that controls them.

That's a spiritual force that, that is in, in, in charge.

And they know what they can do with you and what they can't do.

And they know how, how, how,

how you glorify God by overcoming them in ways that you don't even know is happening.

And how I do that, well, I do it by faith.

I trust God, I hear God, I believe God, I act upon it. I take what's mine that God has given me. And the, and they have no power to stop you because you've been given authority over them.

Now, I'm not telling you to go out there like, you know that great movie,

Abraham Lincoln, Vampire Hunter?

Okay, I didn't watch, I didn't watch that movie. I didn't watch. That was, that said that was a, that was a,

that was a bridge too far.

That was a movie I just couldn't get to.

Abraham Lincoln, Vampire Hunter. When that came out, I said, that's, that's jumping. The shark catches. Can't do that. Okay, that's when Fonzie tried to jump the shark in the shark tank.

That's where that comes from. I.

Those spiritual things are going on around you and they're going to lie to the people, to the rulers of the earth. And the rulers of the earth are going to come and meet.

Well, they're going to meet somewhere. You know where they're going to meet? Well, it tells us where they're going to meet.

It says.

He says, for they are spirits and demons. They go out to the kings of the earth and the whole world to gather them to battle,

to the battle of that great day of God Almighty. Meaning they're coming to fight.

They think they're coming to fight. Now, is it going to be a fight?

Well, I mean,

no, no.

Yeah. I mean,

for them, they're going to think it's a fight and then it's going to be over. It's a lot like watching Mike Tyson the first couple of years. He used to get in a fight, you know, bell would ring, they dance out, wham, wham.

And then somebody'd fall down and that'd be the end of it. Okay. And especially in Nintendo,

Mike Tyson boxing, you couldn't hardly whip him. If y', all,

y' all did it, y' all didn't do any of that. All right, all right. Well, I'm gonna move past it then. All right? I know Brett tried to beat him many times.

All right.

As you go today, I pray that.

The Lord will bless you and keep you, that he'll make his face to shine upon you and that he will give you hope and peace today in Jesus name.
