This is Chad Harrison, and you're listening to Hope Applying God's word to your daily life.

Hi, this is Chad Harrison, and I am the teaching pastor of Lake Community Church and have been serving as a pastor for 25 years.

I'm also a practicing attorney. This podcast is designed to help you study God's word and find God's will for your life.

I pray in the name of Jesus right now that God would open up his word to you and allow you to see him and to know him and to know his will, that you might glorify him and that you might walk in faith and power each and every day,

especially today in Jesus name the beast that.

That you saw was and is not and will send out of the bottomless pit and will go to perdition.

This is like the fourth time it's used in the New Testament, and three of the times deal with a being that is from perdition.

Okay?

Nope.

All right.

And those who dwell on the earth will marvel.

So whatever he comes up with as his religion is going to be something that everybody what marvels at right now.

You can speculate as to where they come from,

what their background is,

these beasts, this plan that he has.

But I want you to hear me. The one world religion that Satan's creating is going to be unique unto itself.

Did y' all hear that?

All right. It's going to be unique unto itself because it says the whole earth marvels at it, which means it's something they haven't seen before.

Now, I'm going to tell you that the beast out of the sea is got to be one of two religions.

Almost got to be.

Okay? Now, he's not going to be of those religions anymore because he's got. He's going to be. He's going to be the one who is. Who is the Jesus of this new religion.

He's either Muslim or Christian.

He's got to be.

Okay?

Because the two major world religions that are the Abrahamic religion, other than Judaism,

and by the way, I believe that the sure sign, if you're asking me, Chad, what is a sure sign in scripture that the end times are near?

It's not. Don't be looking at Russia or Persia or all that, you know, did. Is the. Is the Euphrates river going to run dry? Is it dry today? It's run dry many times.

Okay.

It is that Israel.

Okay. The fig tree bears fruit.

All right. What does that mean?

That means that there's going to be a great awakening in Israel among the Jews,

and they are Going to turn to Christ.

I believe that.

Okay,

so there's going to be a great revival in America and there's. Well, I would say awakening. There's going to be a great awakening in America and a great awakening in Israel because 99% of the Jews in the world live in one of those two countries.

And they're going to begin to come to Christ.

All right?

That's the sign.

That's the sign. The fig trees. The sign.

Okay? And you say, well, how you know it's fig tree? Because the fig tree is always Israel.

Everywhere else in scripture, the fig trees, Israel.

Okay, what does he do? What does he do right before he goes to the cross? He curses. It,

says, you bear no fruit. But then he says, it's going to bear fruit one day.

That's the sign. If you're looking for a sign,

that's the sign.

Okay, has that happened yet?

Nope,

hadn't happened.

So could it happen tomorrow? Yeah,

but until it does,

that's the sign.

I know that Satan is.

And by the way,

now remember, I'm not. I'm not attacking the Catholic Church this way, okay? I don't want you to hear that, because it's important.

The beast out of the land,

okay,

has to be of Jewish background because he's from the land,

but he could be Jewish genetically.

And who is the.

Of all the religious leaders of the world?

Because, by the way, the Muslims don't have a singular religious leader,

okay? The Christians,

the Protestants don't have a singular religious leader. The only religious leader that would be somebody that the whole world would follow would be a pope,

a Jewish pope.

Is that possible?

Yeah,

I think the last count. There's three Jewish cardinals.

No, he's not.

He's American. He from America.

Chicago.

All right? He.

Well, he's from. He's from America. Okay? All right,

so. So my point. My point saying that is, is that, look,

could. Could the beast out of the sea be a Christian? Sure, he could.

Could the beast out of land be some huge Muslim leader that nobody knows about yet?

Yeah,

I don't know that.

Could he be a Muslim with Jewish background?

Could be. He could be.

Don't know.

But see, when you. When you keep. When you try to.

To. To put things in place from your perspective,

oftentimes you find yourself wrong.

And I know when I don't know,

okay? I know for sure when I don't know, which is a good first step,

all right?

And then I try to know when I do know,

but I ain't always good at that. Either, okay? I know when I don't know, which is good most of the time.

But I try my best to know when I do know,

and I ain't great at it.

All right? Now notice whose name.

All right, this beast's name is not written in the book of life,

right?

That's an important book.

Okay? This is verse eight.

His name's not written in the book of life.

All right,

what's the book of life?

Well, it's the other book,

okay?

It's the. It's the book that.

That catalogs all the mighty things that God has done in the earth.

Remember, it's the book of Life.

In him was life.

So all the life of Jesus that manifests itself in this world is going to be right, written in that book,

which means everything that God's done in your life is going to be written in that book.

It's going to be a big book,

okay?

All right. It's going to probably be multiple books, all right?

From the foundation of the world. Now, I want you to notice his name is not in the book of Life, and it's from the what and is not and yet is.

Yes, ma'. Am.

It's okay. It's okay. You just. Just listen and, and follow along.

We all figure it out in time, okay?

And by the way, I read it, and sometimes I think I got it and then I don't have it, okay? Because we're going to. We're going to see some kingdoms that come along that you don't know,

okay?

Now, who's in the book and who ain't?

God? I'm going to say it again. I've said it before. I'm going to say it again. Explain it again.

God is omni present,

which means.

As.

He exists in his nature,

he is everywhere at all time.

So he's here from now forward.

Right here. He's right here.

And he's been here since Jesus formed the universe.

Remember, God willed it and Jesus did it.

So he's been present in the way he exists at all times and at all places.

Present. By the way, if you say he's omnipresent,

if you think about the idea, the idea does not constitute everywhere.

The idea of being present speaks as much, if not more to time as it does to location,

right?

I am present now.

That means I'm here,

and I'm here at a certain time.

Y' all remember when they used to call out,

you know, your name in school,

and, you know,

they had the crazy guy in the back, said, president, y' all remember that.

Y' all remember that.

What does that mean? Well, that means I'm here, and I'm here at this time.

God is omnipresent, which means he's not just here, he's everywhere. And he's not just everywhere. He's everywhere all the time.

So if he's everywhere all the time,

would it be crazy to think that he knows who's in the Lamb's Book of Life?

He would have to be ignorant of that fact.

And by the way,

that speaks to another aspect of God. God is omniscient. He's all knowing.

Remember, he's got to be omnipresent.

He's got to be omniscient.

He's got to be all powerful.

And what's the fourth one?

What's the fourth one?

See, that's why I've got to keep teaching it right, because I've taught it three Sundays in the last month.

He's omnipresent.

He's all powerful,

and he's all knowing. And what is the fourth aspect of God that must be in order for him to be God?

Not all loving.

No.

Who. Who said that? He's all good.

He's got to be good.

All right, good. Be the senior. No,

it's very important.

He is good,

which means everything he does is right.

He is good.

Everything that comes from him is right.

If he's not all good,

he ain't God. If he's not omnipresent, he ain't God. If you don't know everything, he ain't God.

If he doesn't have all the power, he's not God.

All right?

That's the God we serve.

So if somebody asks you a question,

I'm just teaching you something real quick. I know it's a little late. I'm just teaching you something real quick. When somebody comes up to you and they don't believe in God giving you a primer,

oh,

Why is this happening? Or why is that?

I'm going to tell you how I handle it.

First thing I do is I go to the four things that must be for God to be that.

I see where their question relates to that. And then in my mind,

I deal with how they are misguided in their understanding of who God is.

Are you following me?

Because their question usually comes from a limited view of who God has to be in order for him to be God.

Okay?

And as I figure that, once I. Once I identify that,

then I can explain to them. Maybe they think, well, why did. Why did God do This. Didn't he know this was going? No. Yeah, he did, because he's all knowing.

He did know.

Okay,

why did God. Why did God say that and then later on say this?

Well, he's omnipresent,

so he knows both things.

Now, the question is not how are they in opposition to each other. The question is how do they work together?

And so my thoughts are never. Well, God must have been wrong. I never think that.

I never think that.

I always think, how does this and this go together?

And you know what you got to use to figure out how this and this go together?

Well, it's not you.

You can't do it.

You gotta let the Holy Spirit reveal to you it in his Word.

His Word explains it.

Just because you don't know the answer don't mean they ain't answer,

okay?

In fact, you not knowing the answer is proof that you're not God. Very good.

See, you're figuring it out,

all right? If you don't know how, that just means you ain't God. That don't mean God messed up. That means you messed up.

Okay? It's good stuff, isn't it?

And I'm telling you, when you start, if you, if you. When I say something that's fundamental to the faith,

I'm not telling you that. Sometimes I'll say, like these books that are written about prophecy, they're not heels to down.

Because I'm going to tell you, when we all get to the end, we're going to go, wow, that was not what I thought it was going to be.

All of us are every. The ones who wrote books, the ones who didn't write books, the ones who thought about writing books, the ones who couldn't even write.

It wasn't what I thought it was going to be.

Okay?

All right?

But there are things that are just absolutely.

There are things that are absolutely fundamental.

And if, if you don't have those things in your head rightly,

you can easily be drawn aside and spend time wasting time questioning rather than knowing we're made in the image of God, that means something.

God exists in a certain way.

How he presents Himself in Scripture.

He presents himself as all knowing, all powerful,

omnipresent and good.

Okay?

God is in control.

He's sovereign.

He's sovereign and knows all things.

I take comfort in that because when I can't see the answer,

I got the answer.

But until you,

until you in your heart ingest those things and begin to remember, it's not just knowing them,

it's putting them into practice.

It's expecting it I must expect.

When God says he's this, that's yes and amen, and that's the end of it.

Everything I do is ordered by what he says.

And if you do it long enough, it starts becoming natural to you.

You just start thinking that way.

And before you know it, you'll even be up in front of people talking. And you'll learn stuff while you're talking.

Because he's always revealing himself.

He said,

if you seek me,

you'll find me.

But you got to seek me with your whole heart,

which means you got to give your whole personality to me,

which means you can know these things.

I never tell a person that you can't know these things.

There's one thing you can't know, it's the seven thunders, and we ain't got to it yet, okay? All right?

He said, hide those things and we ain't got to it.

I think it has to do with the Jews or did we get to it? Seven thunders. All right.

Seven thunders. Deal with the Jews, okay? And he says, hide it because God's hiding how he's going to deal with the Jews,

okay? He does. We know that from the New Testament, right?

All right.

We know that.

So I'm good with it. Love it.

All right.

And that.

As you go today, I pray that.

The Lord will bless you and keep you, that he'll make his face to shine upon you and that he will give you hope and peace today in Jesus name.
