The Revelation 17:11-12
I am Chad Harrison, and I am the teaching pastor of Lake Community Church and had been serving as a pastor for 25 years. I'm also a practicing attorney. This podcast is designed to help you study God's word and find God's will for your life. The purpose of studying scripture is that you might know the character of Jesus Christ, and that you might see the world from the Father's perspective. That you gain wisdom that changes your life. I pray in the name of Jesus right now that God would open His word to you and allow you to see Him and to know Him. To know His will, that you might glorify Him and that you might walk in faith and power each day, especially today. In Jesus name.

This is Chad Harrison, and you're listening to Hope applying God's word to your daily life.
Hi, this is Chad Harrison, and I am the teaching pastor of Lake Community Church and have been serving as a pastor for 25 years.
I'm also a practicing attorney. This podcast is designed to help you study God's word and find God's will for your life.
I pray in the name of Jesus right now that God would open up his word to you and allow you to see him and to know him and to know his will, that you might glorify him and that you might walk in faith and power each and every day,
especially today in Jesus name to his will.
And that is the pagan religion of Babel. And it is gone on from Babel, and it still exists to this day.
And that king that's going to come about is going to rule under the ideas of that pagan religion and godlessness.
Marxism is godlessness.
It is dangerous.
And it's dangerous for our country.
And there are Marxists in our country.
You need to know that.
Well, I'm gonna have like three viewers tomorrow cut you off. Now,
listen, if y'. All. Y' all think that that don't happen,
I'll do a Bible study.
At the end of the Bible study,
on the page that we use,
there'll be 11 comments by 11 different people.
I'll look at the views,
and the number of views will say six.
Hold on. There's 11 comments by 11 different people. How did we have only six views?
If you don't think that the enemy is in charge of things, he is,
okay?
He's heavily in charge of these things.
And this beast is the fullness of the manifestation of him.
Okay?
All right. I want you to hear me.
There is a form of Christianity that is taught that is born of Marxist ideology.
It's called liberation theology.
Okay?
It is Marxist Christianity. If you could have that.
Okay.
Liberation theology is the theology that the Catholic Church taught in South America. That's why you have so many Marxists in South America.
It is the teaching of the seminaries in this country that have left scripture and have gone over to Marxism.
I want you to hear me.
They're out there.
The reason these great denominations have fallen is because of the infiltration of liberation theology and Marxism into those seminaries to include the greatest American seminary of last century.
Do you all know the greatest thoughts minds?
The greatest seminary in America in the early 1900s. Do you know what university it was at?
It was at Great Presbyterian University,
Princeton.
The day I went to Princeton My Baptist chaplain who had services on Sunday night at 7 o' clock at this huge beautiful cathedral on the campus.
Was.
A student at Princeton Theological Seminary.
And he was a godless Marxist.
And everyone since his infiltrated seminary after seminary after seminary to the point where there's not very many left that are not totally controlled by the Marxist who made the great institutions of this country,
the Christians did.
The great hospitals of this country,
so and so Baptist hospital,
so and so Presbyterian hospital,
the universities of this country,
the Ivy League.
Harvard was a Congregationalist university.
Princeton was a Presbyterian university.
Brown was a Baptist university.
They've all been taken over because you cannot trust institute human institutions.
You can only trust Christ.
You can only trust Christ.
He's the only one you can trust in.
He's the only one that has to lead the way. And anytime you deviate from this,
we can argue about,
you know, some of the specifics and how it works out.
You and I can disagree on what a certain teaching of Jesus might be. But when we leave this as. See,
when you and I discuss something and we disagree on what the Bible says, we're not disagreeing over the authority that wrote it. We're just trying to figure out what the, what the one who wrote it said.
But when you step off the Scriptures and begin to question the authenticity of the Word of God,
well, you've left, you've left Christianity behind.
You've left God behind and there's no way to get around it.
And one of the reasons we're in the Book of John and we started in the Book of John here at this church is because it starts with that understanding.
That's why I go back and quote John over and over again.
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God. And the Word was God and he was with God. In the beginning,
all things were made by him. And nothing that was made was not made by Him. In him was life. And that life was like to men.
That's the Word.
That's the Word made flesh in human form,
incarnate God, Jesus.
And then later on he says, and we beheld his glory, the glory of the only begotten Son of God, full of grace and truth.
And there's no way to get around that. If you don't believe that that Word is the revelation of God and you go to any other source as your foundation, any other source as your, as your bedrock, if you go to anything else other than that as the source,
you are totally off the reservation and you are real close to being apostate.
And that's why it's called the falling away.
The saddest thing that I know from the book of Revelation from, for our country, the saddest thing I know is that if the rapture happens Saturday night,
Sunday morning,
the churches, many of the churches in this country will be filled and operate just like they did. The.
And you go, well, how would they do that?
Because they don't believe the word of God, so they don't believe the word of truth, so they don't believe in Jesus and they don't have him.
Killed almost a half a billion people last century.
Marxism did.
Marxism did.
How can that be? I don't, I don't know. How can it be?
How can a Chinese, per Chinese leader say, listen, we're going to have a great leap forward,
we're going to have a great enlightenment.
So we're going to take all the farmers and take them off the land and send all the people from the city out to the farms to form the farm the land and in the process healed 100 million of their people starve to death.
How does that happen?
Marxism.
How do you get a leader in a small little Southeast Asian nation,
take control of that nation and decide he's going to use young people to control the Nation and give 14 and 15 year olds automatic weapons and empty the city into the fields and kill 6 million of his people?
It's called the killing fields of Cambodia.
Marxism,
Marxism.
And who are tied to the Marxists of this world. What religion is tied to Marxism?
Islam.
How can the Muslims be tied to a godless ideology unless the God who they worship is not God?
Now that's just the way it is.
You say, pastor, do you believe that? Absolutely, I do.
Do I believe that, that capitalism is perfect? No, because humanity is not perfect.
But I believe capitalism and our form of representative republic is based off the principles of scripture.
And what we do and how we do things matters.
And praise God.
We haven't gone down that road totally.
But you never. But one generation away from it.
That's why God's people have to be organized,
have to be intentional about sharing the good news of Jesus with those who are younger,
with our children.
That's got to be our business.
The older you get, the more you ought to be focused on the children.
You ought to be.
You know, you get a whole lot of churches, you go, oh well, you know,
we don't have any children.
Well, there's a reason for that.
We're always one generation from godlessness.
We have to learn to reach those who are younger.
Period. End of story.
All the time intentionality about it.
The devil crouches at the door seeking who may. Whom he may devour.
Now,
preacher, what does that mean, gonna happen at the end? I don't. I done told you.
Now I'm fishing to get some chapters where I can tell you what's going to happen, okay? Because it's pretty clear Jesus going to come back. He's going to be some kingdom set up.
But right now I'm kind of dealing in some murky spaces. I don't know.
I don't know where. Who's the Antichrist? I don't know. But you know what the Bible says that he will be revealed to us first. Second, Thessalonians says. He says. He says the day of our going, the time that we go will not come until the man of lawlessness has been revealed.
So we don't know gonna be all right.
Plans in place? We're good to go.
As you go today, I pray that the Lord will bless you and keep you. That he'll make his face to shine upon you. And that he will give you hope and peace today in Jesus name.
