This is Chad Harrison, and you're listening to Hope Applying God's word to your daily life. Hi, this is Chad Harrison and I am the teaching pastor of Lake Community Church and have been serving as a pastor for 25 years. I'm also a practicing attorney. This podcast is designed to help you study God's word and find God's will for your life. I pray in the name of Jesus right now that God would open up his word to you and allow you to see him and to know him and to know his will, that you might glorify him and that you might walk in faith and power each and every day, especially today, in Jesus name.

They're upset she's gone, but they ain't gonna help any. Isn't that the way the world is, huh? They'll build you up, light your own. For in one hour your judgment has come and you go, well, that's gotta be a city, Pastor. It's not a city. It's not a city in the sense of a city. It is a city in the sense of a institution that exists. All right, I know I'm a little late. All right. And the merchants of the earth will weep and mourn over her, for no one buys their merchandise anymore. Which means it is a change in the economic system of the world. Okay? It is a change in the economic system of the world. You go, Pastor. What is that change? Well, it ain't capitalism, okay? Just letting you know she, Satan is not going to be in democracy. He didn't do all this to be the. The high potentate so that you could vote on him. Okay? Just letting you know. All right. It's going to be straight up dictatorship. He could be on the ballot twice. Thank you, Adi. That's true. All right. Merchandise of gold and silver, precious stones and pearls, fine linen and purple silk and scarlet. Every kind of citron wood, every object of ivory, every kind of object and most precious wood, bronze, iron and marble. Now, I'm going to tell you there is a lot of symbolism there. And so I'm going to come back and kind of go over that next week because there's a lot of symbolism there. Almost every one of those words represents something. Something scripturally. Okay, all right. And it's going to be used for evil, not for good. Okay? So can something. Can. Can anything physical be in. In the sense of nothing that has a conscience or is animated by conscience, can it be in itself, unto itself, evil? All right, I want you to hear me because it's important. Only a mind can Be evil. That which is not a mind is marred by sin and is under the curse of sin. But only a mind can be evil. And when I say a mind, I mean a consciousness. Okay? Okay. And I'm not talking about a conscious. I'm talking about that unique aspect of what a human being is that we cannot explain. Well, we can't explain where life came from either. Okay, and how many of y' all think that they've made a bacteria in the labs? That scientists have created a bacteria in the lab? They're on. They. Not. They haven't. No, not. Not a bit. They. They can't. No, because they can't even figure out how a single cell organ. They. They don't even know the complexity of a single cell organism. The machines, the molecular machines that run, We can't even figure out what are the building blocks that would create it, much less create a cell. You following me? No scientist anywhere has created life from. Not life, period. We ain't even close to it. And if somebody acts like they are, they are deceiving you. Not even close. Okay. We can't re. We don't even know the full. The full code. And to make your own one, you've got to be able to come up with the code of the DNA to make it function the way you want it to function, which also includes the protein and the enzymes that you have to make the. The DNA has to give the code to make it that way. All right. So. So I want you to hear me. There is only one thing that does.

Evil.

And that is a conscious determination to do not God. Everything that that touches is marred by that same evil and is under the curse of that evil. But only the angelic host and. And human beings are actually innately evil or not God, Because it is a conscious decision to be not God. And you go, well, how do you know? Because I know that God reveals himself to all. And you go, well, the way he revealed himself to me. No. The Bible says that the spirit of God is poured out on all flesh. Which means. Are you talking about like the pygmies in Africa? What about the Indians before we got here? Yeah. They could look up and see God's divine nature and his eternal qualities and that which he's made. Did Job know that God, who God was? No, he did not. But he could look and see that there was. That the world was broken and that he was broken and that he was in need of a redeemer. How did he figure that out? He didn't figure it out. On his own. Who told him that? The Holy Spirit told him that. And I don't even know why I'm telling y' all this, because it's real important. Figuring this out is. Is super important. I am something very important to God, but it's not because of me. It's because of him. He animated me. He gave me a consciousness. He revealed himself to me, and he gave me the oper opportunity to enter into a divine, eternal covenant contract with him, which is amazing, okay? Which is amazing. And nobody knows how you get a consciousness. Nobody knows how to make life from non life. But we can't even copy it. I want you to hear me. We have to take it to make the it that we use. We have no methodology by which to put together a no, that there's something that's not what I see and feel and touch. And you go, well, but they don't believe in God. Okay, that's fine. I'll give you some intangible things that all of us would agree, exist, right? Let me give you some intangible things that you will agree exist, and I agree, exist. It's not tangible. That means it's not material. How many of y' all believe that love exists? Is it tangible or material? It has to come from the product of a consciousness, right? Okay, what about. What about hatred? Same. Does it exist?

Yes.

Okay, what about sorrow? What about joy? Are they. Is there any aspect of that that's actually tangible? It's not, but because we know it exists, we know. We know we have consciousness, Right? That's how you know. All right, so if God defines himself and his character by an intangible thing, then there must be something intangible about the universe that you do not know, because what does God use to define Himself? The primary thing, the primary understanding he gives us. You listening to me? The primary understanding that he gives us of himself is an intangible thing. Love. It's intangible. I mean, and we've sung songs about it. Like, what was love got to do with it? You know, I'm talking about. I mean, we even sing songs that tell us that we don't even know what love is, right? I mean, Tina Turner was right. What does it have to do with it? I don't know. Huh? Yeah. We didn't start the fire. It's always been burning since the world's been turning. You know how it goes. That's some good stuff, ain't it? Ain't it, baby? I ain't singing it. Okay? I didn't sing it I just gave the verses all right if you. If you start I'm. I'm telling you if you'll start really saying show me stuff God there's some neat stuff for him to show you. He will expand your mind to see and understand things that you could not understand before. Okay. Because he made you to understand it. He did. He did. He says come and counsel with me. Come and sit. See will I not tote what I will not tell you he reveals all things except for the seven thunders they're hidden. Everything else not that's a couple of chapters back Chapter 10. Was it chapter 10? Yes, chapter 10. All right this has to do with how the Jews and work out in the end times but anyway it'll come out on podcast later. All right. As you go today I pray that.
