This is Chad Harrison and you're listening to Hope Applying God's word to your daily life. Hi, this is Chad Harrison and I am the teaching pastor of Lake Community Church and have been serving as a pastor for 25 years. I'm also a practicing attorney. This podcast is designed to help you study God's word and find God's will for your life. I pray in the name of Jesus right now that God would open up his word to you and allow you to see him and to know him and to know his will, that you might glorify him and that you might walk in faith and power each and every day, especially today in Jesus name.

It is a thing nowadays, especially for me, when people ask me questions about, you know, the end times and things like that. It used to be that they would ask me, well, is it true that this is going to happen or that's going to happen? And what they were referring to is some Bible study they had and they talked to somebody and, and they told them something about some passage of scripture. And really it was a. Is an interpretation type thing. You know, it just, you know, interpreting how they see that thing or was going to happen or not going to happen. And, you know, a lot of times it was something that, you know, was important, but, you know, it's not something that would matter until it mattered till God actually did it. Nowadays, with the advent of YouTube and social media, I have to deal with more of the questions, is they would ask me a question and the answer is no. That's not what the Bible says at all. You know, it's not even the questions generally. Now when I get a question about the end times or how things are going to work out in the Bible, the question does not originate from scripture. It originates from something somebody said on the Internet, okay? And so that is always a perplexing thing to me. And I try to be sweet. You know what I'm talking about? I try to try to give a. Give them a nice answer. But most of the time I just want to say, where did you get that from? You know what I'm saying? I just want to say what, what? I've read the Bible. I never read that anywhere. It's not even close. And so, you know, many times you, you'll have that in your, in your, in your dealing with people. They're gonna say things that are just outrageous, outrageously not true, okay? And they're not from the Bible. They're from something else. They're from some other writing, extra biblical writing. They're from somebody's come up with some plan to dupe them into buying something or something like that. So I say that because, you know, we've been dealing with this one world religion, this worldwide dominion that we call Babylon, and then the woman that rides that beast, okay? And while we're dealing with that issue, many people want to, you know, they want to use just something that's not as, that is not as, I guess the best way for me to say it, it's not big enough for God. Does that make sense to you? You know, when, when, when, when they talk about the Nile river running red with blood. If somebody said to you, well, you know, there was, there was these, these cliffs up, up the Nile river and, and they probably had a, some kind of, some kind of avalanche. You of the hill kind of fell in the river and the river looked red. And I would just say to them, sandy creek looks red to me all the time. You know, when I go by. And if it's rained, it sure enough looks that way. That's not what happened. Okay, it says the river ran red with blood. It says the wells had blood in them. It said every area except for Goshen, except for the place where the slaves lived ran red with blood. And it doesn't mean that it was some red reddish color from a hillside somewhere, okay? It means that it ran red with blood. Does that make sense? And so oftentimes when we come to, especially Babylon, and I'm realizing this more and more as I study through scripture and I read it more and more, I realized that this idea of Babylon and this idea of this one world religion, this one world governance, this one world force that's at work, it's way bigger than something you might be able to identify in a country or in a nation or even in a region of the world. And let me tell you why, Let me tell you why it's bigger than that. Okay, we're gonna read chapter 19. Now, we've read what happened to her in chapter 17. We read in chapter 18 how the world dealt with who she was and what was going on. Now we're gonna read what heaven does because of this one world religion, this paganism, this control. And I believe it's a control by the enemy, by Satan himself. He's the prince of the power of the air, and by his dominion of his fallen angels, which rule as rulers on the earth. Okay? In fact, the Bible says that Daniel wrestled against one of these rulers for 21 days, okay? And we studied that. He wrestled against an angel. Angelic force for 21 days in prayer. So this, this, this one world governance is not. Well, it's. It's not just one thing, okay? It's not just the Bilderbergers, okay? It's not just them. And let me. Let me show you why. Because as you read 19, you realize that whatever, whatever's being destroyed right here is something really, really important. It says, after these things, I heard a loud voice of a great multitude in heaven. Huh? Now remember, normally we hear a loud voice from heaven and what is it? It's either God himself or it's an angel. All right, now what we see here is we see a loud voice of a multitude in heaven, which means now if it's the voice of many waters, that's the voice of God. Okay? All right, now have I explained that to y' all before? The voice of many waters, all right, Waters represents peoples and nations. So when God speaks, his voice sounds like the voice of many waters or what it really sounds like. It sounds like your language with other languages in the background. Does that make sense? All right, so when God speaks, he speaks in all languages. If you've watched Star Trek, he's got a universal translator. Okay, do you all know I'm talking about. All right, that's. And if you haven't watched Star Trek, shame on you. Really shame on you. So you should be watching. You should watch that just for fun. I mean, if you're going to have some good, you know, alien fun that. Star trek. Don't watch YouTube about alien fun. Star Trek is, well, way better. Okay, all right. Captain Kirk is unbelievable. All right, so. So, so it's the voice of many waters. Now notice this is not a voice of many waters, and it's not the voice of one angel, which means whatever this is, is. Most of it is a large multitude in heaven. All right, so he says, I heard the voice of many waters. I mean, the voice of a great multitude in heaven saying, what'd they say? What does it say? I hadn't gotten it yet. Tim, try. There we go, Tim. Hallelujah. Don't you see the exclamation mark? Do y' all see that? All right, by the way, that's what. That's what hallelujah means. It means to shout praise the Lord. In fact. In fact, it is to shout praise the Lord. It doesn't mean just praise the Lord. It means to shout praise the Lord. Why do I tell you that? Well, I've told you before, there's multitude of words that are used in Context of worship in the Old Testament, right? All right? And those words are almost exclusively participatory, okay? Y' all think about that word, participatory, all right? What that means is you don't sit there and in partake of worship. You. You. You worship with yourself. You join in worship. So what do we have? Well, we've got Hallelujah, which means to shout praise the Lord. How many y' all ever shouted. How many y' all ever shouted praise the Lord? How many of y' all have ever heard. You know, you shouldn't do that because you ought to be reverent. Y' all ever heard that? Huh? That. That's not. That's not reverent enough for God. I. I want to tell you that reverent comes from a Latin word, okay? And it's also the word we get Reverend from, okay? And its connotation in Scripture because the Septuagint was the first translation of the whole Bible into one language, meaning they translated the Old Testament and the New Testament into a singular language, and it's called the Septuagint. And in that, lang was Latin. Okay? All right. The Septuagint. The word. The word, Reverend refers to the awful and terribleness of God's wrath against sin. Did you know that? That's what it means. It's. It's God without. Yeah, but what I talk about Jesus being Sunday morning. Do y' all remember? Huh? He is our. He is our propitiation, our propitient, meaning he satisfies the wrath of God. Okay? The word means Jesus is our propitient, which means he satisfies the wrath of God against sin. All right, Reverend Refers to God's relationship with man without a propitient, without one who satisfies God's wrath against sin. Okay? All right, Now I want you to listen to me. Do you want to be a reverent, which means you're worshiping as if you don't have a propitiate or a propitiation of God? Wrath against sin. Now, listen to me. If you don't, you should sit and be quiet and probably really what you should do is fall down your face and cry, okay? That's what you ought to do, okay? So even if you were to be reverent, the only way for you to be properly reverent before a holy God, right? Who is. Who. Who is who is unsatisfied with your sin is to be on your face and to be totally fearful. In fact, the Bible says that we should be fearful, that we. That that. That is. That it's terrible to fall in the hands of a. What? An angry God. It's terrible to fall in the hands of an angry God. Now, don't you hear me? You don't have to fall in the hands of an angry God. Why? Because you have a. What? You have a propitient. You have one who has satisfied the wrath of God against sin. You have that. You don't need to be that way. So what do you need to be? Well, you need to be the way God describes worship in the Old Testament. Listen to me. In the Old Testament, because the Old Testament covenants expect propitiate. In fact, the covenants give us all kinds of sacrifices that point to a what? A final propitiate, a final sacrifice against sin, okay? For sin. So the Old Testament gives us pictures and understandings of a final person who is going to handle the wrath of God against sin. So in the Old Testament, we are, they told, taught to fall on their face in abject fear. Not an abject fear, no. But they're taught to prostrate oneself before God to shout hallelujah. There we go. To raise your hands yada, which means to worship God with your hands. To dance, to sing. Notice, all the words in the Old Testament for worship have to do with some kind of, what, Physical activity, Participatory worship. Notice you didn't. You didn't sit at your seat and allow a plate to be passed to give your. Give your tithe or offering or give your sacrifice to God. What'd you have to do? You had to get up and bring it. Now, if you were in a synagogue, you would bring it and it would be in one place and you'd have to come in and bring it. That's where the widow brought her mite in, okay? That's where you see that story of the widow mite, Widow's might. If you're going to bring your sacrifice to the temple, what'd you have to do? You had to bring it through the gate, you had to wash, and then you had to bring it to the platform, the sacrificial platform. That was right before you got to the actual temple itself. All right? So you had to bring your sacrifice and offer it up. All right? Understanding, that's important. We're not. We're not. We're. When we're in heaven, we're. We're worshiping God. Okay? What do they say? They say, hallelujah, praise the Lord. Notice now this is a great multitude in heaven saying it. Salvation and glory and honor. And power belong to the Lord our God. I always count the words. It's always good to count the words. And I'm gonna tell you, it's usually either 1, 3, 4, or 7. Sometimes 5. Okay. All right. 5's the number of grace. 7's the number of completion. 3's the number of God in His fullness. 1 is the number of the singular God. Okay. All right. And then four is the number for what? How God. How the earth is created. It's the foundations of the earth, the four winds, the four seasons. You can just go through it over and over and over again and there's just fours everywhere. How God created the earth. All right, so there's four here. So obviously God is going to set something right that has to do with the earth. Now, how does he set it right? Well, it's going to point to it. It's going to say salvation, which is the word for sozo, which means God saving us. He's delivering us glory. Glory means the greatness of God, the recognition of who he is. He's above all things, honor, meaning he deserves. He deserves our best. He deserves for us to bring him the very. He deserves the best of all things. How many times do we do that? Do we even teach that? How often do we teach that, that God is. Because God is salvation. He deserves for you recognize his gloriousness, the gloriousness of who he is. In fact, when we pray during worship, don't we talk about the gloriousness of God, the greatness of who he is? We do. And then, and then, not only. Not only do we deal with his glory, but what he is. He's all powerful. And in a minute it's actually going to use the word omnipotent. As you go. Today, I pray that the Lord will

bless you and keep you, that he'll make his face to shine upon you that. And that he will give you hope and peace today in Jesus name.
