This is Chad Harrison, and you're listening to Hope Applying God's word to your daily life. Hi, this is Chad Harrison and I am the teaching pastor of Lake Community Church and have been serving as a pastor for 25 years. I'm also a practicing attorney. This podcast is designed to help you study God's word and find God's will for your life. I pray in the name of Jesus right now that God would open up

his word to you and allow you

to see him and to know him and to know his will, that you might glorify him and that you might walk in faith and power each and every day, especially today in Jesus name.

And the nations of those who are saved shall walk in his light. All right, so they're going to be people who live on the earth. Remember, there's not going to be seas anymore. So they're going to be nations that live on the earth, and a lot more nations than now because 2/3 of the earth is covered by oceans. So they're going to be nations everywhere. And they're going to be people, people groups everywhere. And you go, well, who they going to be? All of them. All of them? All of them. Remember when John said it? At the first part of John, when he looked over heaven and he saw. And he saw the worship in heaven, what did he say? I saw men from every tribe and nation, tongue and language. How did he know that? Because some of them were big, some of them are short, some of them are red, some of them are yellow, some are black, some are white. Some of them. Some of them had different ethnicities to them, combined. They were from every tribe and nation. So when Jesus comes back, those who are not killed either during the tribulation or during the battle of Armageddon, those who are not killed during that, what happens? They remain. And he rules them. Notice what he says about them, though, because in the Olivet discourse. Discourse, he says he splits them up and he rules them with a rod of iron. On the right, he places the lambs, and on the left he places the goats. Okay, he's not talking about Christians. He's not talking about those who are believers in our age. He is talking about the nations that live on the earth. After he comes back so many times you'll hear people quote those passages as if they're talking about us right now. You don't want to be a goat. I can't be a goat. I'm incapable of being a goat. How many of y' all are born again? Raise your hand. You're not a goat. You a lamb, which means you're kind of dumb. Okay? I'm just saying that, okay? Because they are dumb animals, all right? But you are a lamb and you have a shepherd, all right? Notice you're not a goat. So anybody who ever preaches to you and starts talking about a goat, you're not that. Okay? You're not a goat. Did I get that down for y'?

You're not a goat, all right? He says, here its gate shall not be. Let me and the kings of the earth bring glory and honor into it. What do they do? They come from their kingdoms and they glorify Jesus on his throne in the royal city. So they're going to be people on the earth. Great populations of people on the Earth. I'm kind of worried about the carbon footprint, aren't you? Well, you ain't got to worry about it because the seas are gone, so they won't overcome the land. It's just a side joke. Okay? Its gate shall not be shut at all by day, and there shall be no night. There. Now, I want you to think about that. That doesn't have anything to do with us, but it has to do with the people of the Earth. What does that mean about the people of Earth? Bible says that the gate shall not be shut during the daytime and there's not going to be any night. I love the way he turns that phrase, don't you? What he's saying is it's going to be open all the time, which means the peoples of the earth, the nations of the earth, have access to him also. You go, what we be doing? Well, we will be living in there, but I also believe we'll be out. We'll be out ministering as. As the kingdom of light to the nations. We're going to spend time talking about those things. We will know those things. He says we will know. Even as we're fully known, we'll know. And can you imagine a world filled with a hundred billion people

they don't know?

Yeah. Praising God, worshiping him. Can you imagine that? And you get to be the light to them. Yeah. There's no attitudes or opinions about it. And if there is an attitude or opinion, let me tell you something. That rod of iron's rough. You don't have to sit there and get mad at the TV or the YouTubes or the Face chats or the Snap books. You ain't got to get mad at them. Am I right? Remember, he's already proven he handles things. Those two. Those two Witnesses at the gates. If anybody speaks evil of them, what happens? Fire comes out of their mouth and burns them up. Now, I'm going to tell you, that's going to be cool. If there's any reason. If there's any reason for me to want to be like I trib or even post trib, it would be to be sitting there watching, you know, cnn. And he was right. That won't happen but once or twice. Just letting y' all know. Okay? Yeah, I know. They probably are. It says, and they shall bring the glory and the honor of the nations into it. They're going to worship God, the nation, the nations are going to worship God. He says, but there shall be no means enter into anything that defiles or causes abomination or a lie. What he says is, we're not going to have abominations, okay? There's. We're not going to have deceit. We're not going to have anything that defiles. It's not going to happen. You know why? Because the lion of the Tribe of Judah sits on the throne. He sits on the throne. And you need to hear this. You're going to function as children of light, but you're going to walk around with the full power of the Holy

Spirit,

and it's going to be unabridged. You know what limits the power of the Holy Spirit's work in you? I want you to hear me. I want you to hear this. This is important. It's not your flesh, okay? It's not your flesh. If that were the case, then none of us could ever work. We could never do anything. Anything spiritual, okay? If your flesh was the problem, it's a major problem. I don't know if you know that or not. I mean, your flesh is an issue. Like, it's such a bad issue that he just throws it away and gives you new it. If you'll notice, he doesn't throw your heart or your mind away, does he? He tunes your emotions and he fills your mind and he makes you new. He gives you a new spirit that is perfect now and will always be perfect. Your flesh, he chunks it. Starts with the DNA, makes it better. Not the same flesh out. So if your flesh was a problem, you could never do anything spiritual, okay? You could never operate in spiritual power if your flesh was a problem. Because I'm going to tell you, your flesh is a problem. So what is it that keeps me from operating in the spirit? Well, first. The first thing and you need to hear this is your lack of understanding of God, I would say it be your faith, but many people are unable to work in the power of the Holy Spirit because they don't know what to believe. Are you with me? And some people, all they believe is God saved me. And I'm not diminishing that. That's really good. But if that's the limit of your relationship with God, that's like going on a first date and not dating, never getting a kiss. I mean, you got no goodness of the relationship. I mean, you got the warm fuzzies and that's it. You went home and no more. You didn't get any sugar. Nobody wants that, right? Kathleen shaking her head. She was the one I was getting sugar from on the first date.

No, I made. Made him work for it.

No.

And you're sitting there thinking about it. No, you didn't get no sugar the first day. Absolutely.

I remember what you were wearing. All right? Anyway, I remember what you were wearing. I probably didn't. She was bad. Like it. She. No affection. She wouldn't even tell me she loved me after I told her I loved her. It was tough. It was tough. She was tough. She's real tough. Nothing wrong with that, ladies. That's good. That's good teaching for your daughters. Okay? All right, now, I want you to hear me. Just believing that God saves you is a very limited view of God. It's not a wrong view of God. It's just a limited view of God. And then I can begin to operate in that nature and that understanding. And how do I do that? I trust what he's revealed to me and I act upon it. Does that make sense? I trust what he revealed to me and I act upon it. All right? So I would say to you, and many of you say, well, I need more faith.

More faith.

Yeah, People say that. And what they mean is that the amount of faith that they have in quality is not enough or quantity is not enough. All right? Now, I do this exercise and only do it probably once every couple of years, but it's an important exercise. I'm going to tell you what you believe, and if I'm wrong, you tell me. You believe that God created the universe with his word of his mouth. He spoke it, and the word of his mouth, who is Jesus, literally created it. All right, you believe that God made man in his image, that man fell, that God promised redemption, that that redemption would come in his very own son, who is God himself, coming in the flesh incarnate, born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, intentionally died on a Cross bore the sin of the world. Dead with all authority and all power. And he is the salvation and redemption of mankind. He revealed himself to 500 people. He ascended to. The Father sits at his right hand. And one day he's coming back to put this city in place and put his kingdom in place. Is there anybody here who does not believe that?

I have a slight deviation on the first. The Father wills it. That's clear scripture.

The Son made it.

Jesus speaks it. But doesn't the Holy Spirit.

He did it by the Holy Spirit's power. Yeah, but the Son formed it. Okay. By the power of the Holy Spirit. Very good. We'll add the Holy Spirit in there. I like that. Everybody who believe it doesn't. Anybody who doesn't believe all of that, raise your hand. It's okay if you don't believe all of that. Anybody. Y' all are nuts. I mean. I mean, y' all are. I mean, that's what you believe. I'm just telling you from the world's perspective, that's nuts. You do realize that, right? I mean, from the world's point of view, that's crazy. That's like a fantasy, y'.

All.

I mean, y' all know that, right? But you believe that. All right, Exactly. What more do you need to believe? I mean, the quality of what you believe. How does it have to be more than that? That's pure gold. Why do you need more of that? You don't need more of it. You need to understand it better and utilize it. Okay. And the only way I can understand it better is by getting revelation from God. The only way I can understand it better is to get revelation of God. Yes, Lisa?

Is to truly understand the goodness of God. Like to see that.

I've been talking about that, hadn't I?

Like, it's not just knowing that he's good, but you can see it because even in the things you don't understand when you know the goodness.

Been talking about that in pastor's Bible study. Now, I want you to hear that, because that's really important. There are three aspects of God philosophically that are necessary. A fourth that makes him God. Okay? The three aspects of God philosophically that have to be. In order for him to be a supreme being is he's got to be all knowing, all powerful, omnipresent. Okay? Y' all get that? All knowing, all powerful, omnipresent. The fourth aspect of who he's got to be philosophically, in order to be God. And by the way, he presents himself as all three of those things in Scripture. To be a supreme being that created all things, he's got to be innately in his nature, ultimately good. He's got to be the ultimate good. All right? Now, once you hear me, the more you understand about him, the more power you walk in. Now, I'm not saying that you're going to functionally use it. I'm just saying you have the ability to do those things, okay? And listen to me, that means the more God. Now, I'm not just saying the more you've read the Bible, I'm talking about the more you have revelation from him, meaning God took His Word by the Holy Spirit and made your mind understand it, okay? Just because you memorize the whole Bible, if you're not born again, you do not understand it, okay? But if you are born again and you have God's Word and you study it and you get revelation, your revelation, that means revelation. That is about God's Word, but that also is personal revelation. Remember, general revelations is the revelation of God in his creation, all right? Specific revelation is the revelation of God through his Word made flesh, which is the Word and Jesus. Okay? But don't miss out on the third level of revelation, okay? And the third level of revelation is personal revelation that is applicable in and relevant to me right now. Which means what God says about who he is and about what he's doing is practical for how I operate every day. Now, there's no way to get around that. As you go today, I pray that

the Lord will bless you and keep you, that he'll make his face to shine upon you, and that he will give you hope and peace today in Jesus name.
